The Flash

One could say that it actually took some time. After limiting millions of devices to the use of Flash lite, Adobe and ARM announced that they will support Flash 10 and AIR for tvs, automotive systems, cell phones and other mobile devices. Other companies apart, Apple and iPhone users should benefit the most from this, since they’ll be able to use the device’s ARM processor to render and accelerate animations, that currently depend on OpenGL.

Coincidence or not, Google also announced that Analytics will start to analyze content through Google Analytics Tracking for Adobe Flash, which has the same features of JavaScript Analytics, now for AS3, under Apace 2.0 license. Libraries for developers can be found here.

UPDATE 4p.m.

And while the guys at Apple keep analyzing App Store applications (according to rumors that's what caused the Google voice search not to be released on Friday), Google is making progress with Flash running on Android. By the way, why did they decide to launch voice search for iPhone first?
